Catherine Luksic

Mrs. Luksic graduated from Marywood University in 1996 and later obtained her Master’s Degree from Wilkes University with a concentration in Nursing Education. She practiced clinically in Emergency, Surgical Trauma Intensive Care, Coronary Care and Cardiothoracic Intensive Care units. Professor Luksic began teaching in practical nursing education in 2009 and held a variety of roles during her tenure as Interim Program Director, Clinical Coordinator, Health Careers coordinator and NCLEX preparation program Coordinator. Additionally, she was selected to serve on the NCSBN NCLEX examination item development panel. She has been employed full-time by Misericordia University since 2019 where she has taught clinical and various didactic courses in the traditional nursing program, the Part-time evening and ABSN programs.

Professor Luksic received the Immaculate Heart of Mary Scholarship and was selected as a Caldwell Memorial Endowment recipient. Professionally, she is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, the American Nurses Association (ANA), the Pennsylvania State Nurse’s Association (PSNA), and the National League for Nursing (NLN).

Aaron Lenk, Site Director

Aaron joined Misericordia University in 2018, having previously served as the director of admissions for the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He has an extensive background in guiding prospective students toward pursuing their desired professional goals and assisting applicants throughout the admissions process to a successful class start.

Aaron has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Applied Media Arts from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Argosy University.
